Savoury Squares –
Cranberry & Bacon,
Feta & Tomato,

NOTES
4 savoury squares, a great idea if you have to feed people with different tastes
Ingredients:
320g sheet of Puff Pastry – cut into 12cmx12cm with a little to spare for a sweet treat. Place the squares on a baking sheet, lightly score an inner square ¼ inch from edge and prick the centre of the pastry with a fork – toppings:
Cranberry & Bacon
Ingredients:
2 rashers Unsmoked Back Bacon
2 teaspoons Tiptree Wild Cranberry Sauce
60g (about 3 small slices) Brie
Method
Pastry as above 12x12cm lightly scored and centre pricked place on baking sheet
Fry or lightly grill bacon, set aside and roughly chop
Spread Wild Cranberry Sauce onto pastry centre, top with bacon
Add thin slices of brie
Bake at 190 fan for about 12 minutes
Feta & Tomato
Ingredients:
12cm x 12cm Puff Pastry as above
2 teaspoons Tiptree Tomato Ketchup
50g Feta Cheese – crumbled
1 Sundried Tomato cut into strips
4 black/green Olives
Grating of Parmesan Cheese
Drizzle of Olive Oil
Method
Use 12cmx12cm square of pastry lightly scored and centre pricked; place on baking sheet
Spread Tomato Ketchup on centre of pastry
Add feta cheese and strips of sundried tomato
Decorate with olives and add a grating of parmesan cheese and a little oil
Bake 190 fan for about 12 minutes
Spicy Meats
Ingredients:
12cm x 12 cm Puff Pastry lightly scored and the centre pricked with fork
2 teaspoon Tiptree Hot Mango Sauce
4 slices of Spanish Salami – cut in half
1 Fresh Tomato
70g Mozzarella Cheese – half a standard ball
Grating of Parmesan Cheese
Method
Place pastry on baking sheet
Spread Hot Mango Sauce on centre of pastry
Fan salami halves onto pastry
Add slices of tomato and top with slices of mozzarella
Bake at 190 fan for about 12 minutes
Trio of Vegetables
Ingredients:
12cm x12cm Puff Pastry, lightly scored and pricked in the centre
2 teaspoons Tiptree Mango Chutney
2 long thin slices of Courgette
4 or 5 narrow strips of a Yellow Pepper
½ Fresh Tomato
70g or half a round of Mozzarella
Method
Place pastry on baking sheet
Spread Mango Chutney onto pastry
Cover chutney with thin slices of courgette
Add pepper and tomato and top with mozzarella cheese
Bake at 190 fan for about 12 minutes
